mcarlucci/discorhythm repository overview

This image is based on the rocker/shiny:3.6.0 docker image and contains the Bioconductor release version of DiscoRhythm⁠. To run the container, execute the below commands in a terminal.

⁠Basic Usage

docker run --rm -p 3838:3838 mcarlucci/discorhythm

The application should run and be accessible by entering localhost:3838/discorhythm⁠ in your web browser (substitute the machine's IP for "localhost" if you are not running docker on your local machine).

Users unfamiliar with terminal could use a graphical docker application such as Kitematic⁠ to run DiscoRhythm locally.

⁠Advanced Usage

For improved performance on machines with multiple cores available, the DiscoRhythm web application can be run on multiple cores with:

docker run --rm -p 3838:3838 -e DISCORHYTHM_NCORES=number_of_available_cores mcarlucci/discorhythm

Where "-e DISCORHYTHM_NCORES=number_of_available_cores" is optional and "number_of_available_cores" is an integer indicating the number of cores to use.
