This image is now published as melvindave/ai-devbox⁠.

docker pull melvindave/ai-devbox:1.2.0

This repository stays published so existing pulls, RunPod templates, and FROM lines keep working, but it receives no releases after 1.2.0. Docker Hub cannot redirect between repositories, so please update any reference to melvindave/runpod-pytorch when convenient.

⁠Where tags went

1.0.0 and 1.1.0 are an older lineage: CUDA 12.4.1, Ubuntu 22.04, Python 3.11, and CMD ["bash"]. They are unaffected by the move and remain pullable from this repository indefinitely.

⁠If you are upgrading from 1.0.0 or 1.1.0

Release 1.2.0 is a substantial change, not a routine bump:

• Base moved to runpod/pytorch:1.0.2-cu1281-torch280-ubuntu2404

• CUDA 12.4 → 12.8.1, PyTorch 2.4 → 2.8.0, Python 3.11 → 3.12, Ubuntu 22.04 → 24.04, Triton 3.4.0

• Adds JupyterLab, the hf CLI, nvtop, gpustat, ripgrep, fd-find, git-lfs

• Breaking: the default command is now /start.sh, not bash. It starts JupyterLab when JUPYTER_PASSWORD is set and then keeps the container alive. For an interactive shell, pass bash explicitly:
