⁠Project Structure

• Dockerfile: Contains instructions to build a Docker image for the web application.

⁠Dockerfile

The Dockerfile defines the steps to build a Docker image for the web application

⁠Prerequisites

• Docker installed on your machine. You can download and install Docker from here⁠.

⁠Usage

⁠Pulling the Docker Image

To pull the Docker image from Docker Hub, use the following command:

docker pull michaelkedey/web-app:michaelkedey

Run the Docker Container:

docker run -d --name web-app -p 8080:8080 web-app

Access the Application:

Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost:8080/web-app to access the running web application.

⁠Building the Docker Container Yourself

Clone the Repository:

git clone https://github.com/michaelkedey/web-app.git
cd web-app

Build the Docker Image:

docker build -t web-app .

Run the Docker Container:

docker run -d --name web-app -p 8080:8080 web-app

Access the Application:

Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost:8080/web-app to access the running web application.
