mincoin/node repository overview

This container includes Mincoin Wallet Release 0.14.3.

The image was created for Linux Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial) and was only tested in that environment. Testing has shown that a 2 CPU VPS is needed as a minimum. Vultr offer competitive solutions - https://www.vultr.com/?ref=8062180⁠

Port 9334 needs to be open to make Mincoind accessible.

⁠To install

sudo apt update

sudo apt install

sudo apt install docker.io

sudo chmod 666 /var/run/docker.sock

sudo usermod -aG docker $USER

sudo chmod 777 /node

⁠To run

 docker run -it --privileged --volume /run/dbus/system_bus_socket:/run/dbus/system_bus_socket:ro -v /node:/node node:latest

⁠NOTES

1) As a guide, you can expect the synchronisation process to take around 2 to 3 hours.
