⁠ROS Indigo Gui Dockerfile

This container is set up to run GUI applications. It is based on my ros-indigo-desktop-full container.

N.B. This container uses a non-root user account, so any containers based on it will have to use sudo to install software etc. N.B. If the user id and group id you are logged in with are not both 1000, you'll have to rebuild this with the appropriate ids (docker build -t ros-indigo-gui uid=$(id -u) gid=$(id -g) .) or GUI applications won't work.

Usage: docker run -it --rm -v $HOME/.ros:/root/.ros -v "/tmp/.X11-unix:/tmp/.X11-unix" -e DISPLAY=$DISPLAY --name ros-gui --hostname ros-gui mjenz/ros-indigo-gui or docker-compose run ros-gui bash
