miLazyCracker is a tool designed to perform "hardnested" attacks on Mifare Classic and Mifare Plus cards, commonly used for access control and public transportation systems. It works by exploiting vulnerabilities in the cards' cryptographic systems, allowing attackers to recover encryption keys and clone the cards. The tool requires minimal user input and can work with a basic USB reader.
By running the tool, users can test if a Mifare card is vulnerable, crack its security, and extract data that can then be used to clone the card. It’s a demonstration of how easily these smartcards can be compromised using affordable hardware
sudo docker run -it --privileged -v /dev/bus/usb:/dev/bus/usb mpeirone/milazycracker /opt/miLazyCracker/miLazyCracker.sh
sudo docker run -it --privileged -v /dev/:/dev/ mpeirone/milazycracke /bin/bash
Inside container:
./miLazyCracker.sh
To configure the PN532 reader connected via USB, follow these steps:
Access to container shell:
sudo docker run -it --privileged -v /dev/:/dev/ mpeirone/milazycracker /bin/bash
Modify the configuration file: Use the command nano /etc/nfc/libnfc.conf to open the configuration file. Uncomment the last two lines, eg:
device.name = "microBuilder.eu"
device.connstring = "pn532_uart:/dev/ttyUSB0" #replace with your tty
Start miLazyCracker: After making the changes, run the command ./milazycracker.sh to launch the software.
