With mqconnect you can subscribe to an mqtt broker and dump messages to a dump file. The dump file gets tarred and gzipped when it grows over 50MB and a new dump file gets instated.

Arguments: -h, --help show this help message and exit -m MQTTURL, --mqtturl MQTTURL MQTT Connection, e.g. username:password@hostname:1883 -d DUMPPATH, --dump DUMPPATH If set, Dump MQTT Raw to file at path, e.g. -d /tmp -s SSLPATH, --ssl SSLPATH If set, MQTT uses SSL/TLS. Put only ca.crt in the given directory or add client.crt and client.key if you want -t MQTOPIC, --topic MQTOPIC Specify the Topic to subscribe.
