⁠MSGET Broker

This is the companion image for MSGET⁠. It is not a standalone service and has no dashboard or settings of its own.

⁠How to use it

Do not run this image by itself. Use the Compose file on the msget/msget-app⁠ page, which runs both containers together. Always use the same tag or digest for both images.

⁠What it does

The broker makes a fixed set of calls to MSGET's hosted account and relay services for the main MSGET container: account sign-in, session checks, Apple activation, Telegram linking, and relay setup. It does not handle message traffic.

• It saves nothing and cannot read the main container's /state data.
• It listens on a Unix socket at /run/msget-ipc/broker.sock, not on a network port.
• It accepts only the main container's user, UID 65532.
• It needs outbound TCP 443 to auth.msget.app and relay.msget.app.
• It runs as user 65533:65534 and takes no arguments.

⁠Tags

latest follows published MSGET releases. Version tags match the same version of msget/msget-app. Keep the two images on the same version.
