mustakrakishe/php is a customized PHP image⁠ for local web development. It is extended with:

⁠Run

There are some requirements:

  1. Mount your app directory to container's /var/www/html one.
  2. Config Xdebug:
  • mount your xdebug.ini config file to container's /usr/local/etc/php/conf.d directory;
  • expose Xdebug port, provided in xdebug.ini;
  • add an extra host host.docker.internal:host-gateway to the service.

Also, you are able to pass addition config files.

Via compose.yml:

services:
  php:
    build: mustakrakishe/php
    expose: 9000
    extra_hosts:
      host.docker.internal: host-gateway
    volumes:
      - ./app:/var/www/html
      - ./docker/php/conf.d/xdebug.ini:/usr/local/etc/php/conf.d/docker-php-ext-xdebug.ini
      - ./docker/php/php.ini:/usr/local/etc/php/php.ini

Or via CLI:

docker run --rm -d \
    --expose 9000 \
    --add-host host.docker.internal:host-gateway \
