Docker container for building iPXE firmware with embedded scripts
This container can be used for building custom iPXE firmware, such as a
undionly.kpxe file with an embedded boot script.
Compiled files will be moved to the /export directory inside the container.
This should be mounted as a volume to retrieve files.
You can pass 2 arguments to the container, both are optional. Arguments passed on the command line will take precedence over environment variables.
The first argument should be the build target (see here for a list).
This will default to undionly.kpxe if it is not set. This can also be set
by the BUILD_TARGET environment variable.
You should not include the bin/ prefix from the build targets.
The second argument is the path to the desired embedded script. This will
default to /script.ipxe if not set. This value can also be set by the
environment variable SCRIPT_PATH. If the specified script does not
exist, it will simply be skipped.
Assuming you have the file demo.ipxe in your current directory, this command
will build it into a undionly.kpxe firmware and place it in ./export/
