Debezium UI image (quay.io/debezium/debezium-ui) plus patch/wget/unzip tooling
154
A patched build of the Debezium UI image with common command-line tooling added on top.
This image extends the official quay.io/debezium/debezium-ui image and layers in a small set of utilities (patch, wget, unzip, tar, gzip, findutils) so the image can be patched or extended at build/run time. The Debezium UI itself and its runtime behaviour are inherited unchanged from the upstream base image.
docker pull n8500x/debezium-ui
Run the UI, publishing the base image's HTTP port (8080):
docker run -d --name debezium-ui -p 8080:8080 n8500x/debezium-ui
The Debezium UI is served by the base image on port 8080.
quay.io/debezium/debezium-uiUSER root and runs microdnf update, then installs patch, wget, unzip, tar, gzip, and findutils, followed by microdnf clean all to keep the layer small. No application configuration, ports, or environment variables are changed by the patch — everything else is inherited from the base image.
The Dockerfile in this repository only adds tooling; it does not set environment variables, expose ports, or define volumes of its own. The UI's configuration (including the 8080 HTTP port used above) comes from the upstream quay.io/debezium/debezium-ui base image — see the Debezium documentation for the supported options.
From the directory containing the Dockerfile:
docker build -t n8500x/debezium-ui .
root after the patch layer, since the tooling is installed with USER root and no user switch is performed afterward.Content type
