⁠General Info

This project is a basic RPC (Remote Procedure Call) server built in Go (Golang). It exposes an HTTP endpoint that responds with a "Hello World" message in JSON format.

• HTTP Endpoint:
  • Route: /
  • Method: GET
  • Response:

        "message": "Hola Mundo desde RPC en Go"
    }

The server listens on port 8080 and responds to all incoming HTTP GET requests to the root endpoint.

⁠Installation

Follow these steps to install and run the project:

⁠Via GitHub

Ensure you have Go installed on your machine:

go version

Copy the repository

git clone https://github.com/nava2105/go_rpc.git

Enter the directory

cd ../go_rpc

Run the application:

go run main.go

Open a browser and enter to http://localhost:8080⁠

Or to review the endpoints in Swagger enter to http://localhost:8080/docs⁠

⁠Via Docker-hub

Pull the image from Docker-hub

docker pull na4va4/go_rpc

Start a container from the image

docker run -p 8080:8080 na4va4/go_rpc

Open a browser and enter to http://localhost:8080⁠

Or to review the endpoints in Swagger enter to http://localhost:8080/docs⁠
