natanfreeman/dev-env-rust repository overview

This is an Ubuntu⁠ based image intended for local Rust⁠ development. It includes tools for complaining Rust, including compiling to WebAssembly⁠. Basic development tools like sudo, git, bat⁠ and ripgrep⁠ are also included.

This image comes with a default user called devuser with the password password. It can be connected to via SSH.

For example, one could run the container using these arguments:

docker run -it --dns 8.8.8.8 -p 0.0.0.0:8080:8080 -p 0.0.0.0:2222:22 natanfreeman/dev-env-rust:latest

You would then be able to connect using SSH like so:

ssh -p 2222 devuser@localhost
