⁠HEARTH Smart TV Corp

Corporate smart display/TV endpoint (HTTP/UPnP style client traffic).

Real-device analogue: A conference-room smart TV / digital-signage display.

Protocol / ports: HTTP + UPnP/DIAL-style discovery over the corp LAN.

⁠What it does / how it works

A smart-display tenant that generates realistic corp-LAN client traffic (content fetches, discovery) so the IT zone has believable consumer-device noise.

⁠Functions

• Smart-display client chatter
• Corp-zone endpoint for east-west traffic

⁠How to use

Drop on the corp switch and start; it generates traffic on its own. Console to inspect.

⁠Use in GNS3

• Import the matching .gns3a (File > Import appliance), or docker pull neilphan98/hearth-smart-tv:1.1.
• Drag onto your topology, wire to a switch/hub, start. Console: telnet.
• Adapters: 1. Category: guest.

IPv4 device: leave MQQ1_IP empty to auto-assign a unique IP (zero-config), or set a fixed address. Zone via HEARTH_OCTET (5 corp / 6 ot / 8 security).
