The only officially supported image tags follow our naming convention :v*.*.*. Any other tags are not officially supported and should never be used in production-like systems.

⁠Configuration

⁠General

The default Neptune DXP - Open Edition [Planet9] instance does not run as a root therefore the Neptune DXP - Open Edition [Planet9] instance cannot listen by default on port 80 or 443. Take that into consideration when choosing the port that DXP - Open Edition [Planet9] should bind to. By default DXP - Open Edition [Planet9] binds to 8080. To configure SSL, see the SSL section.

A Neptune DXP - Open Edition [Planet9] instance always starts up with a local admin user. You can set the initial admin password with INITIAL_ADMIN_PASSWORD. This value will be only used if the underlying database has yet to be initialized. Once the underlying database is initialized, the password will be persisted in the underlying database. The value will not be valid anymore once the password has been changed in the Neptune DXP - Open Edition [Planet9] cockpit.

Note that you can also modify the majority of these settings in the cockpit, whatever is configured in the cockpit takes precedence over environment variables. The list of environment variables can be found here:
