Alpine Linux based freeradius 3.x server, which is preconfigured for 802.1X usage. Current EAP type support:

• EAP-TLS
• PEAP

The docker image does the following:

• Installs freeradius, freeradius-eap, openssl and bash
• Creates an openssl certificate authority and issues a server certificate for the freeradius server
• Modification of freeradius configuration files (hardening and modifications) to support EAP-TLS and PEAP only

Q&A: Q: Why another freeradius image? A: There are numerous freeradius images out there. However, a lot of manual steps and modifications are needed to set up an 802.1X capable RADIUS server, providing support for EAP-TLS and PEAP

Q: What modifications have you done? A: I will publish a detailed list of modifications. In the meantime, you can check the sources in GitHub. As for today I only changed the configuration files "mods-available/eap" and "sites-available/default".

Q: Can I use this in production? A: As for today, this is an initial version mainly for my WLAN at home. So, we'll see in time :)
