newtoolsworks/udpr repository overview

Sometimes on the server there is another type of service that uses the Tun Openvpn module among others, they are also behind a NAT, this generates problems when using the udpRequest binary, so we have created this container that facilitates its use

[OPTIONAL] SOMETIMES YOU WILL NEED TO DISABLE UFW, since if you run it without disabling it may not work run the command:

ufw disable

First you must start the container with the following command:

docker run -p 8989:8989/udp --name udpr --privileged --cap-add=NET_ADMIN -d newtoolsworks/udpr:latest sh /root/start.sh

It is also required to download the following python script, python3 is needed to run it from the following link

Download udpru.py

once the container is started, you need to route the traffic to the container, for this we need the utility in the script.

python3 udpru.py route [NETWORKINTERFACE] [PORTS EXCLUDED BY COMMA]

example:

python3 udpru.py route eth0 53,8989

By default, this container runs only in system mode, so you have to add the users, and of course we will use the udpru.py utility.

example add user:

python3 udpru.py manage add username password 2023-08-01

example delete user

python3 udpru.py manage del username

with this we can use the container if you can improve the script or the container welcome is your contribution.

Thank you very much for using our NewToolsWorks services, enjoy it.
