The proxy is used to log traffic go in and go out of an app ( reverse proxy and forward proxy )

Port:

• 8080 ( go in )
• 1201 ( go out )

ENV for go in:

• APP_NAME
• APP_HOST
• APP_PORT

TLS interception for go out

• Create a self-signed SSL certificate: openssl req -new -newkey rsa:2048 -days 365 -nodes -x509 -keyout ./certs/ca-key.pem -out ./certs/ca-cert.pem
• mount ./certs to /etc/squid/certs in container

Test for go in:

• curl http://localhost:8080/⁠

Test for go out:

• curl -L -x http://localhost:1201⁠ --cacert ca-cert.pem https://google.com⁠ OR curl --insecure -L -x http://localhost:1201⁠ https://google.com⁠
