Dockerfile:
# Use fluentd's Kubernetes daemonset image as the base
FROM fluent/fluentd-kubernetes-daemonset:v1-debian-syslog
# Install the fluent-plugin-parser-cri gem
RUN gem install fluent-plugin-parser-cri --no-document
# Copy any additional configuration files, plugins, or other necessary files
# Set the entrypoint (optional, only if you need to customize the startup behavior)
# ENTRYPOINT ["fluentd"]
# Note: There's no need to change the CMD unless you have a specific reason,
# as the base image already defines an appropriate CMD for running Fluentd.
All this does is add the cri gemfile to allow parsing of oci formatted logs.
