A quick description of artisanList application

This is the backend codebase of the project ArtisanList. See the below for more information on requirements and installation.

⁠Requirements

• Node Version : 12.13.1 if you have a higher or lower version of node on your windows os, you need to install Node version Manager (NVM)

After installing NVM, to see all node versions on the current machine, run:

nvm list

To change the node version, run:

nvm use <NODE_VERSION_NUMBER>

⁠Installation

After cloning this project, Ensure you create a postgres database name as specified in the directory structure config/database.js also create the root user with the specified password.

Go to config/functions/bootstrap.js and read ALL the notes there very carefully.

When you are done and fully understand the instructions, Go to the project root folder and start up your project by following the command

npm install
npm develop

you can also use

yarn install
yarn develop

Depending on your package manager.
