This images needed for comparison with AstraLinux Postgres⁠. It has two image tags: one with PostgreSQL⁠ and other with PostgresPro⁠ (Standard version).

To change locale for initdb, set environment variables:

• INIT_ENCODING (default: UTF-8);
• INIT_LANGUAGE (default: en);
• INIT_COUNTRY (default: US).

initdb will start only if no database exists (folder /usr/local/pgsql/data). To set database username and password, change environment variables:

• POSTGRES_USER (default: postgres);
• POSTGRES_PASSWORD (default: postgres).
