Multi-currency double-entry accounting system based on node.js + Sequelize

Ale is based on the basic formula Assets = Liabilities + Equity and is insipred by Medici⁠

⁠Standalone Server

A.L.E. operates as a standalone microservice.

Configure your database and after setting the ALE_CONNECTION envar, simply run

$ node server.js

to launch a REST server to handle all your double-entry accounting needs. You can peruse the API documentation⁠ for more details on how to use the service.

Note : This image includes PostgreSQL bindings. For other databases, you can have a look at the Dockerfile to infer how to set up ALE for other sequelize-supported backends.
