ninetymiles/file-bridge repository overview

FileBridge

A DingTalk chat bot that automatically saves photos, videos and files sent in chats to your server.

Company members simply send files to the bot in DingTalk (group chat via @mention, or direct chat) — no VPN or extra apps needed. It runs with a WebSocket stream connection, so no public IP or domain is required.

Features

  • Auto-saves photos, videos and files sent to the bot
  • Group chat: @ the bot with images; direct chat: all file types
  • Duplicate files are detected automatically (SHA-256)
  • Media info attached on save (photo time, aperture, shutter, ISO / video resolution, fps)
  • Say "重建索引" to clean up stale file records — also runs automatically on startup
  • Online/offline notifications to a group or a colleague

Quick Start

docker run -d \
  --restart unless-stopped \
  --name file-bridge \
  -e CLIENT_ID=<your-app-client-id> \
  -e CLIENT_SECRET=<your-app-client-secret> \
  -v /path/to/storage:/out \
  ninetymiles/file-bridge:latest

Setup

Create a DingTalk internal app at the DingTalk Open Platform, enable the bot with Stream mode, and copy the ClientID / ClientSecret from the app credentials.

See the GitHub repository for full documentation.
