This echo server supports returning request information such as headers, query params, path params, TLS info and other request metadata.
Pull with docker:
docker pull nodstuff/gecho:latest
Simply hit the echo server on the port you define when you run:
Without SSL
docker run -d -p 8080:8080 nodstuff/gecho:latest
With SSL
docker run -d -p 443:8443 -p 80:8080 -v local/path/to/certs:/ssl/certs nodstuff/gecho:latest
Generate Cert
openssl genrsa -out server.key 2048
openssl req -new -x509 -sha256 -key server.key -out server.crt -days 3650
The echo server will start up listening on HTTP and HTTPS if you supply certs.
If you choose not to supply certs then it will automatically only start up in HTTP mode, no changes required.
The echo server accepts all HTTP methods and request bodies which will be returned in the response.
