noglo/jdkjenkins repository overview

In this repository i have taken Ubuntu 18 as base OS and Installed Jdk, wget,Jenkins.

If any service is running in your system on port 8080 and 80. run the docker by this command

docker run -it -d -p 90:80 -p 9090:8080 -p 50000:50000 image_id.

If no services are running on these ports then you can run this command

docker run -it -d -p 80:80 -p 8080:8080 -p 50000:50000 image_id.

After creating container, docker exec -it container_id /bin/bash. You will be inside container. Run Jenkins by "service jenkins start" to verify whether its running "service jenkins status"

To know the ip address of the container type docker-machine ls. it will show the ip address assigned to the container If you have Windows as host machine then docker setting will be in NAT. So check the ip address and log into the jenkins URL :8080 If you have Mac as host machine then docker will be in bridge . So it will be localhost:8080
