ntutselab/libsystem repository overview

This is a docker image of a simple library system. The main usage of this image is for performing testing lab in Software Testing and Verification course in NTUT.

⁠Prerequisites

We recommand you run the image by docker compose⁠. If docker compose⁠ hasn't been installed on your computer, please follow the instructions here⁠ to install.

⁠How to run the application?

1. Create a directory for the project:

   $ mkdir LibSystem
   $ cd LibSystem
   

   Copy

2. Create a file called docker-compose.yml in your project directory and paste the following:

   libsystem:
     image: ntutselab/libsystem
     ports:
      - "80:80"
      - "4444:4444"
   

   Copy

3. Start up your application by running docker-compose up

   $ docker-compose up
   

   Copy

   Compose will pull the library system image, and starts the services.

4. Enter http://127.0.0.1/LibSystem in a browser to see the application running.

⁠How to stop the application?

Stop the application, either by running docker-compose down from within your project directory in the second terminal, or by hitting CTRL+C in the original terminal where you started the app.
