Uses the Alpine image and sets up a container with installed. --> Plugins dependency management work
1.9K
Uses the Alpine image and sets up a container with Jenkins installed.
Just intended to a small master image to avoid bloated containers. Mostly intended to leverage other containers as slaves.
Imagine a list of links here that go to other docker container repo that have really specific and interesting purposes!
docker run -p 8080:8080 -p 50000:50000 nuagebec/alpine-jenkins:play-1.2
This will store the workspace in /var/lib/jenkins. All Jenkins data lives in there - including plugins and configuration. You will probably want to make that a persistent volume (recommended):
docker run -p 8080:8080 -p 50000:50000 -v /your/home:/var/lib/jenkins nuagebec/alpine-jenkins
You can also use a volume container:
docker run --name myjenkins -p 8080:8080 -p 50000:50000 -v /var/lib/jenkins nuagebec/alpine-jenkins
To build the image, do the following:
% docker build nuagebec/alpine-jenkins:play-1.2
A prebuilt container is available in the docker index.
% docker pull nuagebec/alpine-jenkins:play-1.2
