OceanBase是一款由蚂蚁集团完全自主研发的企业级分布式关系数据库，立项于2010年，具有数据强一致、高可用、高性能、在线扩展、高度兼容SQL标准和主流关系数据库、低成本等特点。2020 年 5 月，OceanBase 以 7.07亿 tpmC 的在线事务处理性能，再次打破 TPC-C 世界纪录，是第一个也是唯一上榜的中国数据库。OceanBase数据库目前已在阿里巴巴、蚂蚁集团、网商银行的业务系统中得到广泛应用，并承担了网商银行的全部核心业务系统100%的工作负载，是目前国内唯一一款经过大规模金融场景长时间验证的分布式关系数据库。同时，OceanBase还应用于印度最大支付公司Paytm，以及南京银行、西安银行、天津银行、苏州银行、东莞银行、常熟农商行、广东农信、中国人保、招商证券、浙江移动等近四十家银行、保险、证券及运营商机构，有效地支撑了应用单位的核心业务，保证业务的持续运行和终端用户的服务质量，显著降低了用户成本，提高了业务可用率和峰值处理能力。

OceanBase is an enterprise distributed relational database completely and independently developed by Ant Group. It was established in 2010. It has the characteristics of strong data consistency, high availability, high performance, horizontal scalability, high compatibility with SQL standards and mainstream relational databases, and low cost. In May 2020, OceanBase breaks the TPC-C world record again with an online transaction processing performance of 707 million tpmC, and is the first and only Chinese database to be listed. The OceanBase database has been widely used in the business systems of Alibaba, Ant Group, and MYbank, and it has undertaken 100% of the workload of all core business systems of MYbank. It is currently the only distributed relational database in China that has been verified for a long time in large-scale financial scenarios. At the same time, OceanBase is also used in India’s largest payment company Paytm, as well as nearly forty banks, insurance, securities, and operator institutionssuch as Bank of Nanjing, Bank of Xi’an, Bank of Tianjin, Bank of Suzhou, Bank of Dongguan, Changshu Rural Commercial Bank, Guangdong Rural Credit, PICC, China Merchants Securities, and Zhejiang Mobile. It effectively supports the core business of the application unit, ensures the continuous operation of the business and the quality of service for end users, significantly reduces the user costs, and improves the business availability and the peak processing capabilities.
