Raspbian ARM64 base images built directly from the official Raspberry Pi OS installation images for Bookworm and Trixie. These images are optimized for Raspberry Pi devices that support 64‑bit Docker containers such as the Raspberry Pi 4, Raspberry Pi 5, CM4, and CM5.

The repository provides three types of tags for each release:

1. Golden Master Images (immutable) The initial clean base image created from the official Raspberry Pi OS image. These images are built once and never modified. Examples:

   • bookworm-lite
   • trixie-lite

2. Updated Images (immutable, timestamped) Images fully updated with all available upstream package updates (apt update && apt full-upgrade). Tag format: -lite-upd-YYYYMMDD
   Example:

   • bookworm-lite-upd-20260406

3. Latest Updated Pointer (moving tag) Convenience tag that always points to the most recent updated image. Examples:

   • bookworm-lite-upd-latest
   • trixie-lite-upd-latest

These images are minimal, reproducible, and suitable as a stable base layer for ARM64 container workloads on Raspberry Pi hardware. They provide a reliable starting point for building custom, Pi‑optimized Docker images.
