ohneb/twitch-drops-miner repository overview

Twitch Drops Miner

Mine timed Twitch Drops without streaming video or audio.

Choose your games, set their priority, and track rewards from your browser. The miner runs on your own hardware and automatically claims earned drops.

Features

  • Game priorities, reward filters, and automatic claiming.
  • Optional badge and emote mining across other games.
  • Live progress, campaign details, and claimed-reward history.
  • Twitch device-code login with sessions preserved across restarts.
  • Optional dashboard password protection.
  • Linux images for amd64 and arm64.

Quick start

Install Docker with Compose support, then save this as compose.yaml:

services:
  twitch-drops-miner:
    image: ohneb/twitch-drops-miner:latest
    container_name: twitch-drops-miner
    user: "1000:1000"
    ports:
      - "127.0.0.1:8080:8080"
    volumes:
      - ./data:/app/data
      - ./logs:/app/logs
    restart: unless-stopped

Create data and logs directories beside the file. On Linux, both must be writable by UID/GID 1000:1000.

Start the container:

docker compose up -d

Open http://localhost:8080 on the machine running Docker.

This configuration allows access from that machine only. For LAN access or a reverse proxy, follow the dashboard access guide.

Start mining

  1. Open Settings > Twitch account and complete Twitch device authorization.
  2. Link any required game accounts through Twitch Drops campaigns.
  3. Open Campaigns and select Mine for a game.
  4. Adjust priorities under Mining > Edit, then leave the miner running.

Mining is opt-in. Select games or enable automatic badge/emote rewards before automatic watching starts.

Your login, preferences, and reward history are stored in data. Keep this directory when replacing or updating the container.

Docker automatically selects the correct CPU architecture.

These images mirror the published images at ghcr.io/ohne-b/twitch-drops-miner, preserving their contents and digests.

Updating

From the directory containing compose.yaml:

docker compose pull twitch-drops-miner
docker compose up -d --no-deps twitch-drops-miner

If you use a pinned version, change its tag in compose.yaml first. Keep the existing data and log mounts.

Help

For personal use on your own hardware. Support is best effort; Twitch changes and third-party campaign coverage can affect mining.

License and credits

Licensed under PolyForm Strict 1.0.0. Modification and redistribution require separate permission.

Based on rangermix/TwitchDropsMiner and DevilXD/TwitchDropsMiner. Upstream attribution and license terms are preserved in NOTICE.md.
