This is pretty basic, but I wanted to build my own Docker image for golang building.
Here is the Dockerfile
FROM ubuntu
RUN apt-get update
&& apt-get install -y
curl wget vim build-essential
--no-install-recommends
&& rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/*
ENV GO_VERSION 1.8.6
ADD https://dl.google.com/go/go1.10.linux-amd64.tar.gz / RUN tar -C /usr/local -vxzf /go1.10.linux-amd64.tar.gz
ENV PATH="/go/bin:/usr/local/go/bin:$PATH" ENV GOPATH /go:/go/src/app/_gopath
CMD ["go-wrapper", "run"]
