Marid is a lightweight Java application that initiates the connection to OpsGenie inside out. As the connection is initiated by Marid, only outbound internet access is needed, and a web accessible endpoint is not needed. Marid is wired to subscribe to alert activity in OpsGenie and can execute a groovy script when an alert is created, acknowledged, commented, closed, etc. Marid integration configuration in OpsGenie supports filters hence Marid utility can subscribe to all or subset of alerts and alert activity.
