⁠OLO ToolGate Gateway

Rust runtime authorization gateway for AI tool calls. Evaluates identity, tool, action and resource context using ALLOW / ASK / BLOCK decisions, signed policy bundles and approval integration. Protected calls fail closed when authorization cannot be established.

⁠Deployment

Deploy with Control using the GatewayControl Compose stack⁠. Run manage.bat deploy or sh manage.sh deploy; the scripts configure PostgreSQL, Redis, identity/TLS material and an HTTPS proxy. The console is exposed at https://localhost:8444/console/⁠ by default.

Gateway needs configured identity trust, policy inputs and limits. Use the documented stack instead of starting an unconfigured container. For one-container evaluation, use ololab/olo-toolgate-quickstart.

⁠Versioning and source

dev follows development builds. Pin a commit-specific tag or digest and use matching Gateway/Control versions.
