⁠Openbase Coder

Openbase Coder is a voice IDE — speak a task from your phone, keep a live coding call open, and steer coding agents from anywhere. This image runs the full runtime — local API, LiveKit voice stack, sync workers, and the web console — in a single Linux container, with Tailscale as the networking layer. It is also the supported way to run Openbase Coder on Windows (via Docker Desktop).

⁠Quick start

docker run -d --name openbase-coder --hostname openbase-coder \
  -p 7999:7999 \
  -v openbase-data:/home/openbase/.openbase \
  openbaseai/openbase

Join your tailnet (or pass -e TS_AUTHKEY=... to docker run for unattended joins):

docker exec -it openbase-coder tailscale up

Log in to Openbase (the browser redirect needs a one-line port bridge — see the docs⁠):

docker exec -it openbase-coder openbase-coder login
docker restart openbase-coder

Then:

• Web console: http://openbase-coder.<your-tailnet>.ts.net:18080
• iOS app: Settings → Backend Host → your container's tailnet name. Voice calls — including call audio — run over the tailnet.
• All state (logins, tailnet identity, settings) persists in the openbase-data volume.

Mount the projects you want agents to work on: -v $HOME/Projects:/home/openbase/Projects
