Official docker image for the OCN Node, which provides access to a decentralized communication layer for OCPI parties in the electric vehicle roaming domain.

⁠Quickstart

The docker image provides a basic entrypoint for running an OCN Node. By default, the image will run using configuration for a development environment. Additional configuration properties can be specified using command line arguments.

⁠Run a node

docker run -p 8080:8080 -t -i --name ocn-node openchargingnetwork/ocn-node

⁠Configuration of the node

Command line arguments can be added at runtime to modify the behaviour of the OCN Node. For a full list of possible command line arguments, see the OCN Node Configuration documentation⁠.

For example, the following would set the node's URL to a publicly accessible domain name, and provide a private key for managing its identity:

docker run -p 8080:8080 -t -i --name ocn-node openchargingnetwork/ocn-node -Docn.node.url=https://ocn.server.net -Docn.node.privateKey=08e0b16e8dea0f16e6e7f87f912b6adc2b928bf9d59d3eccc6c989691c5be0fe
