The opportunity is that our audience’s (patients, providers, payers, family members, community, data scientist, and statisticians) needs won’t be fulfilled by a single health system, or a single provider, or a single oncology center. It will take a new economic system (ecosystem) of capital interests’ alignment, radical transparency, liability protection, and the social-pressure-applying force of the will of the people to create digital foundations that provide a sense of hope and optimism.

Open Ecosystems is about how we bring together businesses, organizations, and governments to cooperatively create global value for our audience and community by working across traditional sectoral boundaries to create this new ecosystem.

Open Ecosystems is not an attempt to recreate the existing health platforms, point solutions, provider products, electronic medical systems of record, UIUX methodologies, diagnostic testing infrastructure, remote patient monitoring devices, educational materials, ride-sharing services, or logistical last-miles. There is an existing patchwork of companies across many sectors who have spent billions building such offerings. Rather, it is a means by which we creatively compound these company capabilities to create a new economic system whose sum is greater than the individual parts. Then realize the value from the summation of these exponential growth functions to accelerate the speed with which we traverse the circumference of our go-to-market loop; drastically improve our capital efficiency by reducing the complexity of what needs to be purpose-built; and de-risk cross validated system interactions.
