Spring Boot (Java 25) API for a table-side restaurant ordering system. Guests order from their table, the kitchen sees it live, a hall board shows the status, and the admin manages the menu, tables, staff and every order.
Orders move through one server-side state machine, prices and tax are always calculated on the server, and order lines keep a copy of what was sold.
Tags: 0.1.0 (pin one), 0.1, latest (newest release), edge (newest build of master). Images are for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64.
Run it with the whole app (PostgreSQL + frontend): use docker-compose.hub.yml from the repository, see below.
Settings (environment variables): SPRING_PROFILES_ACTIVE=prod, DATABASE_URL (JDBC URL), DATABASE_USERNAME, DATABASE_PASSWORD, UPLOAD_DIR (default /data/uploads, mount a volume there for meal photos), SESSION_COOKIE_SECURE (true behind HTTPS), APP_SEED_DEMO (true loads demo data, every demo account has PIN 1234: demos only). It stops at startup if a database setting is missing. Listens on port 8080 and runs as a non-root user.
