p1020389/gitlab repository overview

⁠General

This image is needed in order to run the Gitlab CI pipeline of the openQxD⁠ package (see here⁠). It contains all the needed dependencies for this.

⁠Setup

This image is based in the official python image⁠. It just adds some needed python libraries as well as the openmpi development library⁠ from Debians packaging system. This package depends on gcc.

The Dockerfile:

FROM python:3
RUN pip install --upgrade pip
COPY requirements.txt .
RUN pip install -r requirements.txt
RUN apt update -y
RUN apt install libopenmpi-dev -y
run apt-get clean

requirements.txt:

reframe-hpc
numpy

⁠Regenerate the image

First login to duckerhub from the terminal

docker login -u p1020389

the password is the access token generated on the account settings part in the profile. Then to build the image (in the dir where the abobe two file are located):

docker build -t gitlab .

Tag as latest:

docker image tag gitlab p1020389/gitlab:latest

Upload to docker hub:

docker image push p1020389/gitlab:latest

⁠Test the image

Run the docker container from dockerhub via:

docker run -h runner-test -it p1020389/gitlab /bin/bash
