⁠arvados_client

This docker image is used for uploading of information into arvados. It contains arvados SDK and fuse mount utility.

Goto the directory where you want to upload your items, and invoke the docker: docker run --rm -it -v $PWD:/data --privileged=true PacificAnalytics/arvados_client:latest

Within docker container, arv utility is used to upload a file or directory into arvados.

1. Please paste your token and API into the command line. This can be found by login and click current token.

Example token: HISTIGNORE=$HISTIGNORE:'export ARVADOS_API_TOKEN=*' export ARVADOS_API_TOKEN=4nsg8ylqb9s96nw234ngyfblpasasftfrnjykpvlsokzcjvgeayh export ARVADOS_API_HOST=tapi.pacificanalytics.com.au export ARVADOS_API_HOST_INSECURE=true

1. Follow by invoking arvados SDK command to upload

   arv keep put

To Mount your keep server filesystem

1. Make a directory to mount arvados filesystem to your directory mkdir -p /home/keep

2. Mount the filesystem with SDK. Please remember to add & to command. arv-mount /home/keep &

3. You can locate your files by CollectionID or Content address:

   Collection UUID:

   12hkz-4zz18-6uub4r26wtt1igj

   Content address:

   56470a9af38078699ded549ce437b768+2546

4. To access the files in collection.

   cd /home/keep/by_id/12hkz-4zz18-6uub4r26wtt1igj && ls

5. To copy to your local directory.

   cp myfiles /data
