packetworks/tsd-moonraker repository overview

This fork just includes a simple dockerfile to run it as a container. Most of it was lifted from @nikolak's fork https://github.com/nikolak/tsd-moonraker/

The docker-compose sample file can be used after linking the python app with TSD. This has not been tested with private TSD, only the cloud hosted version.

First run:
  • Create/edit the config.ini as described in original readme https://github.com/TheSpaghettiDetective/tsd-moonraker
    • it will be used in the container through a volume mapping using the -v flag.
      • Run docker run -it -v some-local-path/config.ini:/app/config.ini --entrypoint /bin/bash packetworks/tsd-moonraker:latest
        • Replace some-local-path/config.ini with a full path to your own config located on your docker host.
      • Run python3 -m tsd_moonraker.link -c config.ini and paste the generated URL into your browser to link the printer.
  • That's it, the printer is linked and you won't have to do this part again.
Normal operation with Docker Compose:
  • Edit the docker-compose.yml file to suit your local environment. Make sure the config.ini file is specified for a volume.
  • Run docker-compose up -d
Normal operation with Docker Run
  • docker run -d --name spaghetti-detective --restart unless-stopped -v /some-local-path/config.ini:/app/config.ini packetworks/tsd-moonraker
  • Check that everything's good to go: docker logs spaghetti-detective you'll see Offline -> Operational in the logs.
