The images are built ontop of microsoft/dotnet:1.1-sdk⁠ and microsoft/dotnet:2.0-sdk⁠ which are debian jessie based

⁠Use case

You're building a .net core app that will be deployed to elastic beanstalk. You can use this one image in your CI that has node and the eb CLI ready for you so you don't have to install them. Yarn also included for npm.
