⁠How to use

docker pull:

docker pull pant/collabora-online:cp-6.2-5_CODE-4.2.1-4

⁠Preparation

First you need to copy the /etc/loolwsd/loolwsd.xml from inside the image. Temporarily run an image and copy the file:

In Shell #1:

docker run -it --name "test-collabora-online" pant/collabora-online:cp-6.2-5_CODE-4.2.1-4 /bin/bash

In Shell #2:

docker cp test-collabora-online:/etc/loolwsd/loolwsd.xml ./test.xml

⁠Production

Replace your domain in /etc/loolwsd/loolwsd.xml line 128

Example docker-compose.yml file:

  app:

    ports:
      - "9980:9980"
    volumes:
      - ${PWD}/lool-start.sh:/lool-start.sh

${PWD}/collabora-online-pant/orthos.oxt:/orthos.oxt is optional.

Example lool-start.sh:

#PREPARE
/bin/mkdir -p /usr/local/var/cache/loolwsd
/bin/chown lool: /usr/local/var/cache/loolwsd

# OPTIONAL
## For custom extensions (in this example greek-english dictionary)
chown lool:lool /orthos.oxt
/opt/libreoffice/instdir/program/unopkg add --shared /orthos.oxt

#START the process
lool_dir=/opt/lool
sudo -u lool ${lool_dir}/loolwsd --o:sys_template_path=${lool_dir}/systemplate --o:lo_template_path=${lo_dir}/instdir  --o:child_root_path=${lool_dir}/jails --o:admin_console.username=admin --o:admin_console.password="$admin_pwd"

Replace $admin_pwd with a long password of your own. You can navigate to the admin panel via https://example.com/loleaflet/dist/admin/admin.html⁠

I had to make some tweaks in the config and in some bash scripts because of some bugs. /opt/* files have not been touched
