This image is based on a ''docker commit'' not a "docker build"... that's probably why it's 2.5 Gb

TODO:

• add the possibility to launch the container with a Sikulix script from the host
• slim down that image with a "docker build"

This image is based on https://hub.docker.com/r/kkochubey1/docker-sikuli-novnc/⁠ (the difference is that my image got SikuliX 1.1.1, not Sikuli1.0.0) and uses tricks of https://github.com/wernight/docker-sikulix/blob/master/Dockerfile⁠

few memos about the rest:

• Automatically clean up the container and remove the file system when the container exits: add the "--rm" flag

• root password: ubuntu

• to open Sikulix IDE: cd Downloads; java -jar sikulix.jar

• Java installation an ppa stuff: $ sudo apt-get install software-properties-common python-software-properties $ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:git-core/ppa $ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install git sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java sudo apt update; sudo apt install oracle-java8-installer

• Vysor (Android UI automation) (Vysor not installed right now!) launch from terminal: google-chrome --app-id=gidgenkbbabolejbgbpnhbimgjbffefm ("gidgenkbbabolejbgbpnhbimgjbffefm" is Vysor app ID)

• Add USB device like this: docker run -t -i --device=/dev/ttyUSB0 ubuntu bash

Prototype 2: sudo docker run --rm -itd --name sikulix_6080 -p 6081:6080 -e PASSWORD=<YOUR_PASSWORD> -e SUDO=yes -e NGROK=yes pataimages/sikulix:prototype2
