paterno/cosmosis repository overview

This image is based on Ubuntu 16.04, chosen because that release contains a very current version of the GCC C compiler as its system compiler. In the production release of CosmoSIS (https://bitbucket.org/joezuntz/cosmosis/wiki/Home⁠), the underlying software is delivered through UPS. This image is an attempt to investigate using Docker to deliver the underlying software.

The image contains all necessary C, C++, Fortran and Python utilities. It also contains the git source control system, and the CosmoSIS source code as of 7 Feb, 2016. Commit 5c2b76210b561dcd118652396357ef7c1029116c is the HEAD of the master branch.
