Building a dumb-init Ubuntu Docker image
docker run -d --name ubuntu --hostname ubuntu --workdir /root pbraun9/ubuntu
docker logs ubuntu
docker exec -ti ubuntu /bin/bash
Eventually fix the timezone (currently Europe/Paris)
echo "Europe/Moscow" > /etc/timezone
rm -f /etc/localtime
ln -s ../usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Moscow /etc/localtime
dpkg-reconfigure tzdata
and point to your nearest mirror (currently fr)
vi /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://ru.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ focal main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://ru.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ focal-updates main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://ru.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ focal-backports main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ focal-security main restricted universe multiverse
