The Smart Redact Worker is the processing component of Smart Redact, the Smart Suite product that detects and permanently removes sensitive information from PDFs. It uses named entity recognition (NER), pattern matching, and keyword detection, and is stateless and horizontally scalable, with CPU and GPU (-cuda) variants.

⁠Version compatibility

The Worker and Smart Suite have separate version numbers. Each Worker version supports one major version of Smart Suite, starting from a minimum minor version, and refuses jobs from any other Smart Suite version. Pin exact image tags, and when you update Smart Suite, follow this table:
