The Smart Suite Job Manager accepts jobs for the Pdftools Smart products, such as Smart Redact, stores their files, and dispatches them to the product Workers. Clients call it directly through its REST API, or through the Smart Suite Orchestrator.

⁠Version compatibility

Run the Job Manager, the Orchestrator, and the HITL web application at the same Smart Suite version. Workers have their own version numbers: a Worker accepts jobs only from Smart Suite versions with the same major version, starting from a minimum minor version. Pin exact image tags, and update the Smart Suite images before the Workers, or together with them for a new major version.
