The Smart Suite Orchestrator runs the human-in-the-loop job workflows of the Pdftools Smart products, such as Smart Redact, on top of the Smart Suite Job Manager, and adds user accounts, authentication, and audit events. It is the backend of the Smart Suite HITL web application.

⁠Version compatibility

Run the Job Manager, the Orchestrator, and the HITL web application at the same Smart Suite version. Workers have their own version numbers: a Worker accepts jobs only from Smart Suite versions with the same major version, starting from a minimum minor version. Pin exact image tags, and update the Smart Suite images before the Workers, or together with them for a new major version.
