⁠What is pebl?

The Infrastructure as Code movement has sadly become only about tracking yaml files in git. We think that the ideas of IaC can be extended into something much more profound.

Pebl is a new infrastructure project, one that aims to encode all of your infrastructure, actually as code, inside your application. It provides access to cloud capabilities as regular functions, without any static configuration. This repository contains the python SDK bindings. You can read more about why we started pebl⁠.

Most users will find it convenient to simply reference peblcloud/python:0.1.2 or even peblcloud/python without the SDK version specified.

If you wanted a specific python version as a base, we provide 3.10, 3.11, and 3.12, with the full format being {pebl sdk version}-{python version}.
