⁠SUMMARY

A multiple-thread based Linux network throughput benchmark tool.

⁠FEATURES

  • Multiple threads to send/receive data. By default, Receiver ("-r") uses 16 threads and Sender ("-s") uses 64 threads to exchange data.
  • Support cpu affinity.
  • Support running in background (daemon).
  • Support Sender and Receiver sync mode by default. Use "-N" (no_sync) to disable the sync.

⁠USAGE

⁠Server side

docker run -p 5000-5008:5000-5008 pedroperezmsft/ntttcp-linux

Always expose port 5000 +n ports, being "n" the number of threads you'd like to use.

⁠Client side

docker run pedroperezmsft/ntttcp-linux -s -m 8,*,10.1.4.4

8 is the number of threads The * means no CPU/core affinity 10.1.4.4 would be the IP address of the server
